From the first phone call to the first day.
Tours, the waitlist and both orientation visits are free. There is one fifty dollar enrolment fee per family on your first invoice, and no bond.
Tour times
Twice a day, weekdays, forty five minutes.
Not an open day, not a Saturday with the good toys out: an ordinary weekday, in the rooms your child would be in, with the day actually running around you. Renae takes every tour herself and answers fee and ratio questions on the spot.

Kindergarten places for the following year mostly open in October.
The six steps

Book a tour by phone or through the site
Ring us on (07) 5550 0150 or send the form at the bottom of this page. Tours run at 9:30am and 4pm on weekdays and take about forty five minutes, in the rooms your child would actually be in.

Join the waitlist with preferred days and start date
If we cannot offer you a place on the spot you go on the waitlist with your preferred days and start date, at no charge. Wednesdays and Thursdays fill first, and we will tell you honestly where you sit rather than take a deposit and hope.

Accept the written offer
The offer comes in writing with the room, the days, the daily fee and the start date on it. Nothing here is verbal.

Complete enrolment forms, health record and immunisation statement
Enrolment form, child health record, immunisation history statement, medical management plans signed by a doctor, court orders where they apply, and emergency contacts.

Confirm the enrolment in myGov so subsidy can be paid
Your enrolment sits in your myGov account waiting for you to confirm it. Until you do, no Child Care Subsidy can be paid on any session, so this step is worth doing early.

Two orientation visits, then a short first day
Two visits before day one, then a short first day. Your primary educator is named before either of them, and settling runs over a fortnight rather than a morning.
What is supplied, and what you can buy
The first hat is free. Here is what replacing anything costs.
Wide brim sun hat, $18
A broad brim cotton bucket hat with a neck flap and a chin toggle, sized for toddlers and preschoolers. The first hat is free at enrolment and lives on your child's peg. This is the replacement price for the ones that go missing.
Story bag, $14
A plain drawstring cotton bag for the borrowing library. Children in junior kindy and the kindergarten room take a book home each Friday and bring it back on Monday in this.
Centre backpack, $38
A small two tone backpack sized for a preschooler, with a wet bag pocket that fits a spare set of clothes and a drink bottle. Optional. Any bag that fits on the peg is fine with us.
