Enrolment and orientation
Tour, waitlist, offer, paperwork and two orientation visits, with the Child Care Subsidy set up before day one.
Enrolment starts with a tour, which is what the first shot of the film is: a parent at the door with an educator down at the child's height. Tours run at nine thirty and at four, take about forty five minutes and include the rooms your child would actually be in. If we cannot offer a place you go on the waitlist with your preferred start date and days, at no charge. When a place opens we send a written offer with the fee, the days and the start date on it. Then comes the paperwork: enrolment form, child health record, immunisation history statement, medical management plans, court orders if they apply and emergency contacts. You confirm the enrolment in your myGov account so Child Care Subsidy can be paid, and then we book two orientation visits before the first day.

How long is the waitlist?
Nursery places usually take eight to twelve weeks. Kindergarten places for the following year mostly open in October. We will tell you honestly where you sit rather than keep you hopeful.
What do I need to bring to enrol?
Your child's birth certificate or passport, an immunisation history statement from the Australian Immunisation Register, any medical management plans signed by a doctor, court orders if they apply, and your Centrelink customer reference numbers for the subsidy.
Do you charge a bond or a waitlist fee?
No bond and no waitlist fee. There is a one off fifty dollar enrolment fee per family on the first invoice, and that is the only administration charge we make.
